a jazz band in action-master class

The I.Vafeas quartet will be giving a master class on July 10th, 12am during the paralel actions of the 6th Rhodes jazz festival entitled A JAZZ BAND IN ACTION.

Description:

- The role of each instrument at any given time during performance

-Most important aspects: Swing, harmony, soling, form, repertoire etc.

-Knowledge of the jazz language (in order to solo in the jazz idiom)

-Creating phrases, tension and release)
